What Does A Phlebotomist Do?

A phlebotomist is a trained professional who can safely and hygienically draw blood from the patient’s veins and arteries.

The drawn blood is collected in vials or bags for immediate usage or stored for later usage.

In addition to the training skill, a phlebotomist needs to exhibit excellent patient relaxation skills.

The training skills enable the technician to draw the blood without causing much inconvenience to the patient, and also make the blood extraction procedure less painful for the patient.
